Hi All,
Just a quick update to let you know that shipping on the terrain is going ahead and is currently under way. We are looking forward to you all having your terrain and the tables you will make.
While you wait though here are some more art pieces from Jared Blando.
This is one of the equipment cards for Light Armour users. It allows you to use your Situational Awareness to increase your Combat. There is an equivalent card that allows you to increase your defence.
This card goes even further with the use of speed to attack your opponent. Part of the Glorfindon fighting style you can use your Situational Awareness dice as part of your combat, combining Flank Attack and Almost Weightless can make a fast model terrifying in combat.
Lightning Bolt is a combined spell using Fire and Wind magic. This spell is very effective against models in armour.
Magma Rain is another combined spell, this time Fire and Earth. It is best used against large units, with the potential of hitting all the models in the unit.
Marked Man is one of the Sell Sword cards, it allows you to force your opponent to allocate the first of each type of combat result to one model. This means that you can break the normal dice allocation convention so the model will receive potentially one Success, one Critical and one Super Critical even if no other models in the unit have been hit.
Only The Money Matters is another Sell Sword Guild card, this one allowing them to overcome one of their weaknesses, low Morale. Play this card and take a command test and you may be able to sway some of your more mercenary followers.
Rock Throw is one of the Earth spells, it allows you to cast a magical missile that can pierce armour at the cost of raw damage. A nice utilitarian spell as it can be used as a standard Magika Missile.
Water Blast is the Water Magic version of Magika Missile, the additional effect of this card allows you to reduce the targets Situational Awareness at the expense of raw damage, this is temporary but once again makes the ability very utilitarian.
Both Water Blast and Rock Throw cost 1 Magika to put in your deck unlike Magika Missile, if you like magic users it is definitely worthwhile considering elemental magic schools as you can double down on ranged magic attacks.
